Awesome! It steams so things don’t get tough, although you just use a normal shield. It has pour spout so you can the steam water. The handle is great you never get burned.

I love rice. I keep any leftover rice in a leakproof glass container, thinking it’ll keep it from drying out; doesn’t necessarily happen. What works is dampening a paper towel with water, covering the leftover rice, and then reheat in the microwave. Comes out as if just cooked from the rice cooker.
